YSL Residences is a new condo development will soon rise at the iconic residence of 385 Yonge Street in Downtown Toronto. It will be a mixed-use project, having spaces for residential, office, and commercial retail use. Sizes of units will range from 538 to 2,000 sq. ft.
YSL Residences Condos is slated to be the tallest residential condominium in North America as of 2017 at 98 floors and 957 units. In order to successfully complete this one in a million tower, the developer Cresford has engaged the world-renowned Kohn Pedersen Fox (known as the top architect for mega high-rises in North America, specifically New York City), and the world-renowned ArchitectsAlliance. They are known for giving life to Jing An Kerry Centre in Shanghai China, Roppongi Hills in Tokyo Japan, and JR Central Towers in Nagoya Japan.

The builder promises exquisite, elegant and professionally designed suites for residents. With its prime location, public transport is very accessible. YSL Condos is near the College and Dundas stations. It is also near schools like the University of Toronto and Ryerson University. Some of the parks residents can visit are College Park, Alexander Street Parkette, and Joseph Sheard Parkette. The Toronto Eaton Centre also just steps away.
YSL Condo’s Design
The YSL Condo skyscraper vows to infuse Yonge Street with the luxury and sophistication that will make Canada stand out in the International Marketplace. A 9-story podium will consist of commercial and office spaces. The average size for a 2-bedroom floor plan is 860 sq. ft. There will be 389 one-bedroom units, 459 two bedroom suites, and 109 three-bedroom spaces. The indoor amenities will be housed on the 42nd and 43rd floor, and promise to be one of a kind.
YSL Residences is developed by Cresford Development Corporation. The developer is known to have constructed MYC also at Yonge, Windermere NXT, and NXT II at Queensway, and Casa Condominiums at Charles Street. The YSL condominium is under the preconstruction planning and design phase. The estimated completion and occupancy dates are still unknown.
