A pre-construction development at 2915 Bloor Street West by Fieldgate Urban is the United Kingsway Condos. This new condo development is situated at Prince Edward N and Bloor W, and the condos will have 8 levels with a total of 90 residential units. This mid-rise condo development will have a retail space and two separate lobbies. The architects of the project are TACT Architects who are designing this with a purpose to provide the residents with intimate spaces along with a personalized condo living feel.

Both the buildings will have indoor amenity space in the lobbies. The architects have given a unique structure and design to the buildings with each half mirroring the other in terms of the exact shape and form. The building will feature opposing facades along with black granite, which will provide a great contrast to the structures. The retail space is planned on the ground, which will unite the two structures along with a tree-lined sidewalk.

Location and Neighborhood

Located in one of the friendliest neighborhoods of Sunnylea, the residents will get the charm of the country along with a vibrant and lively culture. Services and amenities are abundant in the neighborhood that will cater to all the requirements of the residents. The town has a friendly feel to it along with numerous attractions. There are a number of retail shops, grocery stores, and services to cater to the basic daily requirements of the residents. The site has a walk score of 75/100, which clearly means that most of the errands can be covered on foot.

The Humber River and King’s Mill Park is at a walking distance from the site. The park around the river has a 10-kilometer trail that goes all around to Toronto’s waterfront. Even though it is still in the early stages of development, the United Kingsway condos have been successful in building high hopes. Built on Bloor St West, Etobicoke, the modern architecture of the condos is the major highlight of the place. The 2-toned cement and glass facade design has a quite attractive appearance. The transit or commuting doesn’t seem to be an issue here. With Royal York station right around the corner from the condos’ location, public transportation will be a good option. The accessibility options available are aplenty. For a family living, there are good schools in the neighbourhood. Places like Humbertown shopping centre and Fairfield park make the location more appealing to me. Mimiko Creek in the neighbourhood makes it a lush urban location.
