New mid-rise towers in the works at 700 Sheppard Avenue West, and will be known as The Westmount Boutique Residences. The conjoined towers will stand 10-storeys high, and house 134 unique units. The mixed-use construction will feature residential and store front retail spaces.
The towers will be near several amenities including Yorkdale Shopping Mall. Hospitals nearby include North York General Hospital and Humber River Regional Hospital. Libraries, drug stores, supermarkets, and banks are also accessible to the location.
Commuters will also find the location accessible as it is near the Yorkdale Station. Highways 400 and 401 are key highways near the towers. Restaurants close to The Westmount Boutique Residences include Wolfie’s Deli, Jade House, and Orly Restaurant and Grill. Parks in the neighbourhood include Stafford Park and Irving W Chapley Park. Tower 1 will feature 4 three-bedroom suites, 47 two-bedroom suites, and a total 83 one-bedroom units. The suite sizes will range between 400 square feet to 1100 square feet. KFA Architects and Planners will design the 2 towers. Other projects designed by the architects include the Diva at Sheppard Avenue West, the 2800 at Keele Street, and the Volare Condominiums at Kipling Avenue, Vaughan.
This project is in the early planning stages. It is estimated to be completed by 2020. Prices of units are soon to be announced.
