About Gem2 Condos Development

Del Ridge Homes is responsible for the creation of Gem2 Condos, an innovative sustainable condominium venture located in Markham. This initiative, launched into the real estate scene in 2015, provides a perfect blend of luxury living and ecological consciousness. The design of the project was carefully planned to integrate harmoniously with the existing parks, ponds, and natural elements in the vicinity.

The Gem2 Condos will have a total of eight stories and 200 units. The building is designed to help homeowners significantly conserve resources and energy. The units range from one to three-bedroom selections, which cater to families of different sizes. Some of the special features include a lounge, event room, and guest room.

Location

With Gem2 Condominiums being in a prime location just south of 14th Avenue, residents are in close proximity to a number of amenities and attractions. These include retail stores, public transportation, recreational parks, schools, and major highways.

Del Ridge Homes provides nine different floor plans, which include: one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom selections. The main categories of floor plans are:

  • One Bedroom + Den,
  • Two Bedroom,
  • Two Bedroom + Den,
  • Three Bedroom.

The Gem2 Condominium has 200 units. Unit sizes range from 700 square feet to 1250 square feet. The 1 Bedroom + Den floor plans start at 700 sq. ft. and goes up to 846 sq. ft. with the inclusion of a balcony that ranges from 45 sq. ft. to 130 sq. ft. Two-bedroom plans are 902 sq. ft. with a 45 sq. ft. balcony; while the Two Bedroom + Den plan starts at 1,005 sq. ft. and goes up to 1245 sq. ft. The 3 Bedroom plans start and 1000 sq. ft.

The Gem2 Condominiums is designed to allow residents to reduce their ecological footprint and protect their community. The structure is made from insulated concrete form (ICF) construction to provide optimal energy-saving benefits but at the same time, it is also aesthetically appealing. From the lobby area to the halls, residents are greeted by laminate or carpet with impressive quality underpadding. Quality kitchens with energy star rated products and marble countertops add elegance to the interior.
